SBEXT-82 is an SBus extender board that provides bus extension and logicanalyzer test points for all 82 bus signals. It allows the board undertest to be mounted vertically for access to both sides. Finally, itmeasures 5v current consumption of the board under test.A set of LEDs continuously monitors the five-volt supply for the boardunder test. Any deviation below the 4.75 volt low voltage limit, orcurrent in excess of 2 amps will immediately be signaled via themonitoring LEDs.The SBEXT-82 brings all 82 SBus signal lines to test posts for quickconnection to any logic analyzer. In less than two minutes, all probeleads from any common analyzer may be hooked onto all 82 SBext-82's testposts.The SBext-82 places the board under test in a vertical orientation,enabling easy access to both sides of the board under test. Allcomponents on the board under test are in full view making onboardcomponent access easier.A sturdy metal frame connected to a rear-panel plate provides mechanicalsupport and stability for the SBext-82. High quality, speciallylubricated board under test connectors allow thousands of insertions,insuring an extended life.
